I am trying to find out what are the employer preferred schools in Georgia for degrees, if an Aviation Mechanic wants to pursue Bachelor’s degree and advance into Management. Would Embry-Riddle be preferred over an Engineering or Business degree from Georgia State, UGA or other school?

I believe most of them do not require pilots to have any degree. Can I get Associates in Aviation and all the Pilot Ratings from Single to Multi Engine-instructor. Would that be enough to get a job in regional airlines?
If I have Associates degree and more hours of flying, do I get hired first in comparison of the one who has bachelor but less hours than me?

I am currently a freshmen pursuing my bachelor’s in aviation technology at a 4-year institution. I plan to seek a career that involves working in the technical and maintenance aspects of aircrafts. Since I just turned 18, my temporary job choices are minimal. What jobs can I seek right now, that will enable me to get use to the aviation environment.
